New Delhi: In view of the alarming surge in COVID-19 instances, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday (May 8) introduced a 14-day lockdown from May 10. 

Essential providers like well being, medical have been exempted from these curbs. Meanwhile, these travelling to Tamil Nadu in the course of the lockdown would require an e-pass.

Check how to apply for e-pass beneath:

1. Visit the official website- https://eregister.tnega.org/#/user/pass- to apply for an e-pass.

2. Register your self on the portal.  

3. After submitting the OTP acquired, choose the kind of e-pass required. 

4. Fill in the mandatory particulars together with your identify, handle (house and vacation spot), vary of journey (inter-district/inter-state), period of journey, variety of passengers, automobile particulars, ID proof, purpose for journey and many others.
