The Jaipur unit of the World Health Organisation (WHO) donated 100 oxygen concentrators to the Rajasthan government right here on Monday. The concentrators had been handed over to state Health Minister Raghu Sharma who thanked the WHO for its cooperation in combating in opposition to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sharma stated that each doable effort is being made by the state government to overcome the dearth of oxygen within the state. The oxygen concentrators being supplied by company social duty (CSR) are supporting the government’s efforts to deal with the pandemic, he added.Â
WHO consultant Rakesh Srivastava stated these contractors, value about Rs 15 crore, had been manufactured in Germany. He stated that the concentrators have the capability to produce 8 litres of oxygen per minute which could be elevated to 10 litres per minute as per the requirement.
