Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday (May 18) prolonged the lockdown to comprise the unfold of COVID- 19 till May 30, an official launch stated.
The ongoing lockdown which started on May 12 was supposed to finish by May 22, in keeping with an earlier official communication.
Chief Minister Ok Chandrasekhar Rao has determined to increase the lockdown in the State as much as May 30. The CM spoke with the Ministers over the telephone and elicited their opinion. After receiving the opinion of the Cabinet Ministers, the CM has determined to increase the lockdown till thirtieth May.
The CM instructed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to situation GO on the extension of the lockdown. And because the Ministers are busy monitoring the Corona curtailment measures and medical providers on the discipline stage, the CM has canceled the State Cabinet assembly, which is scheduled on May 20.
