Moga: An Indian Air Force MiG-21 fighter plane crashed close to Moga in Punjab late final evening. The plane was on a routine coaching sortie when the accident occurred.

This is the third crash of a MiG-21 plane this 12 months. In March, a Group Captain of the IAF was killed in an accident involving a MiG-21 Bison plane at an airbase in central India.
