Kupwara (Jammu & Kashmir): Based on a selected Jammu & Kashmir Police intelligence, a joint operation was launched by Jammu & Kashmir Police and Army in Karnah, Tangdhar, Kupwara within the morning of twenty-two May 21.
The joint operation led to restoration of 15 sticks of Plastic Explosives, close to Nichli Jabri Village of Tangdhar. These explosives had been hidden in a Dhok for additional transshipment to the hinterland.

Security businesses and Civil Administration in Karnah Tehsil proceed to work hand in hand to negate the safety menace of smuggling of narcotics, weapons and shops for terror organisations in J&Ok, by means of Tangdhar bowl.
In the final two years, a complete of 28 weapons & over 60 kgs of narcotics has been recovered from Karnah, aside from a bunch of explosives together with ammunition and grenades.
