Sushil Kumar Arrested: Sagar Dhankar’s Post-Mortem Report Makes Crucial Revelations

Special cell of Delhi Police arrested Olympic medal winner Sushil Kumar from close to Mundka metro station on Sunday morning. Police was trying to find Sushil Kumar and his affiliate Ajay within the homicide case of 23-year-old wrestler Sagar Dhankar, who died after he was allegedly assaulted by Kumar and others inside Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium.

Delhi Police has taken former Olympic champion Sushil Kumar on remand for six days. The Police is interrogating Sushil Kumar in reference to the incident and his whereabouts. The wrestler’s alleged hyperlinks with jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana and Kala Jathegi can be being probed. In view of the seriousness of the case, the investigation is being accomplished by the crime department of Delhi Police.

According to ANI, put up mortem report of wrestler Sagar Dhankar submitted by Dr Munish Wadhawan, Specialist, Forensic Medicine, Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, Sagar had a number of accidents on his each legs, limbs, chest and stomach. The report means that the reason for his demise was “cerebral damage”.

“Death is due to cerebral damage as a result of blunt force/object impact. All injuries are antemortem in nature,” mentioned the report.

“Multiple reddish abrasions varying in size from 1 x l cm to 7 x 2 cm on left upper limb and both knees. Multiple stitched lacerated wounds varying in size from 1 x 0.6 cm x muscle deep to 4 x I cm x bone deep on both legs. Multiple stitched lacerated wounds varying in size from 2 x l cm x muscle deep to 6xl cm x bone deep on B/L frontoparietal region. Multiple reddish bruises varying in size from 5 x 2 cm to 15x 4 cm on both upper limbs, back of chest and abdomen and both legs,” the report mentioned.

“Scalp: Subscalp bruising in left temproparietal region. Skull: NAD. Brain: Brain matter is congested and edematous. Diffuse thin film of subdural hemorrhage over left cerebral hemisphere,” it added.

Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar is the prime accused within the homicide case of wrestler Sagar Dhankar. The wrestler is charged with kidnapping, homicide and felony conspiracy. If confirmed responsible for homicide, Sushil Kumar can face life imprisonment or demise penalty.
