Big Tech Face Strict EU Guidelines Over Monetising Disinformation

New stricter European Union pointers will push Facebook, Google, and different massive tech corporations to commit to not earn money from promoting linked to disinformation.

The European Commission mentioned on Wednesday that its strengthened non-binding pointers, which confirmed a May 19 Reuters report, set out a strong monitoring framework and clear efficiency indicators for companies to adjust to.
