CBI arrests four Food Corporation of India officials in bribery case, check details

Indore: CBI has arrested four Officials together with the Divisional Manager, two Managers of Food Corporation of India in bribery of Rs. One Lakh.

During searches, money of Rs.3.0l crore(approx) and gold jewelry 387gms(approx) & 670 gms(approx) silver articles/jewelry had been recovered.

The mentioned money quantity was allegedly stored in totally different envelopes, some of the bundles marked/written with names of the events, dates and quantities. Some money quantity was allegedly discovered in a heavy security vault/chest which was hid in the picket almirah. A diary was discovered containing the detailed report of the money quantities obtained corresponding to date, title of social gathering, quantity and in addition a observe counting machine.

A case was registered on a grievance in opposition to Manager (Accounts), FCI, Divisional Office, Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh) on the allegations of demanding a bribe of Rs. 1,50,000/- for releasing the pending payments of Complainant’s firm.
