“There have been over 750 cases of black fungus in Haryana so far. Fifty-eight have been cured while 50 people have lost their lives and 650 patients are seeking treatment,” Khattar stated throughout a information convention right here.

“We have received 6,000 injection vials. Over the subsequent two days, we are going to get 2,000 vials more whereas we have positioned an order for one more 5,000 vials,” he stated.

Earlier on Thursday, Health Minister Anil Vij had directed officers to enhance the variety of beds in all authorities medical faculties of the state from 20 to 75 to deal with sufferers contaminated with black fungus or mucormycosis.

Vij had directed officers that medicines must be made accessible to these sufferers as required with none delay and that there must be no scarcity of injections and different medicines.
