Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 hits Assam
An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded in Assam’s Sonitpur on Sunday. The quake was reported at 2.23 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 40 km west of Tezpur, in line with the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the quake was 16 km. So far, no reviews of any harm have surfaced.
