Pankaj Tripathi Replaces Paresh Rawal In Akshay Kumar’s ‘Oh My God’ Sequel

Mumbai: The makers of the 2012 superhit movie ‘Oh My God’ is all set to deliver the sequel of the film to the viewers. Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have been seen portraying the lead roles in ‘Oh My God’. Mithun Chakraborty additionally performed a pivotal function within the film. The film proved to achieve success and now, the makers are all set to make the sequel of ‘Oh My God’. The taking pictures of the movie was imagined to be held in May-June 2021. But because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the taking pictures has been pushed ahead.

The taking pictures of ‘Oh My God 2’ will now begin in September 2021. After the success of the primary movie, it’s a massive duty for the makers to make its sequel. The makers wish to make it as quickly as doable after issues get higher after the lockdown ends.

Akshay Kumar shall be seen in his previous avatar

According to a report of PinkVilla, Akshay Kumar shall be seen reprising his function within the sequel of ‘Oh My God’, the place he performed the function of ‘Krishna’. However, reportedly, Paresh Rawal won’t be seen in a lead function within the sequel of the film as he’s being changed by Pankaj Tripathi. ‘Oh My God’ was directed by Umesh Shukla. The sequel of the movie may also be directed by him.

‘Oh My God’ is the official remake of the 2001 Australian movie ‘The Man Who Sued God’. This satirical comedy-drama revolved across the lifetime of an atheist portrayed by Paresh Rawal, who makes enjoyable of spiritual actions and decides to sue God.

Meanwhile, apart from ‘Oh My God 2’, Akshay Kumar may also be seen starring in ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘BellBottom’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Prithiviraj’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’.
