North East Shines In 67th National Awards, ‘Water Burial’ Wins Best Film On Environment Conservation

Assam: North East is shining as soon as once more in nationwide awards and this time for a film named Water Burial. The total movie was shot in Karbi Anglong and Tawang introducing new faces like Alex Piringu, Tshering Dorjee, Sonam Lhamu, and Tshering Petton.

The film has been impressed by the Assamese novel ‘Saba Kota Manhu’ written by Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi. The total movie was shot in Karbi Anglong, Assam and Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.

The movie was directed by Shantanu Sen, co-produced by Faruque Iftakar, and introduced by Sanjive Narain. The film ‘Water Burial’ produced beneath the banner of AM Television Pvt Ltd luggage one of the best movie award on setting conservation on the 67th National Awards 2021 on the event of World Environmental Day.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulate Sanjive Narain for getting the National  award Swarn Kamal for the film Water Burial, ‘Best movie on Environment conservation in function movie class in India.’ 

 

Directorate of Film Festivals tweeted and shared the record of the movies received the National Award on Environment Conservation and Preservation. 

Water Burial has been awarded the Best Screenplay Award on the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival 2019.
