New Delhi: Launching a frontal assault on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the FIR registered towards occasion MLA Suvendu Adhikari and his brother Soumendu Adhikari for allegedly stealing reduction supplies, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Kailash Vijayvargiya on Sunday alleged the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo has “no trust in democracy and wants to destroy opposition”.
Vijayvargiya dubbed the newest developments in West Bengal politics to be a “conspiracy against the BJP”.
“The bombs were recovered outside the BJP office yesterday. Mamata Banerjee has no trust in democracy and wants to destroy the opposition,” ANI quoted Vijayvargiya as saying.

The FIR was registered after Ratnadip Manna, a member of Kanthi Municipal Administrative Board, made a criticism on June 1 towards Suvendu and his brother Soumendu Adhikari, former Municipal Chief of Kanthi Municipality.
“On 29 May, 2021, at 12:30 pm as per course of Suvendu Adhikari and his brother and former Municipal Chief Soumendu Adhikari of Kanthi Municipality, Government tripal whose estimated worth is round lakhs of rupees, was taken away from municipality workplace godown by forcefully and illegally opening locks,” he stated within the criticism submitted at Kanthi Police Station.
