Kochi: Lakshadweep Police on Thursday booked filmmaker Ayesha Sulthana or (Aisha Sultana) on sedition expenses following a criticism by a BJP chief that she unfold false news concerning the unfold of COVID-19 in the union territory throughout a TV debate.
The criticism was filed by the BJP’s Lakshadweep unit president Abdul Khader.
Sulthana hails from Chetiath island in Lakshadweep.
