The ongoing season of Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) witnessed a scary second when former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis suffered a nasty collision whereas taking part in for Quetta Gladiators towards Peshawar Zalmi in Abu Dhabi on Saturday (June 12).

The incident came about in the seventh over of Peshawar Zalmi’s innings when Faf du Plessis collided with Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hasnain whereas diving to cease a boundary. Du Plessis’s head hit Hasnain’s knee and the South Africa cricketer fell on the bottom.

The Proteas batsman was rushed to the hospital after the collision and Karachi-based left-handed batsman Saim Ayub was named because the concussion substitute for du Plessis.
