Veteran BJP chief Lal Krishna Advani on Saturday (February 3) accepted the Bharat Ratna conferred to him and mentioned that the award shouldn’t be solely an honour for him as an individual but additionally for the beliefs and rules that he strove to serve all through his life. This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced Advani’s title for the nation’s highest honour. “With utmost humility and gratitude, I accept the Bharat Ratna that has been conferred on me today,” the BJP veteran mentioned in a press release.
