New Delhi: Days after he criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led authorities in an interview over its dealing with of the Covid-19 pandemic stating “there is much more to life than just image-building”, actor Anupam Kher on Friday gave the impression to be in injury management mode as he stated “only those who work make mistakes”.
The actor put forth his views on Twitter sharing just a few traces of verse, which many speculate is linked to the interview.
“Only those who work make mistakes. Ne’er-do-wells spend their lives only pointing out faults in others,” his tweet written in Hindi interprets.
The actor, who has been a vocal proponent of the BJP-led NDA regime and has lauded Prime Minister Modi on a number of events, in an interview to NDTV earlier on Wednesday stated that he believed the federal government “had slipped” within the Covid disaster and it was necessary to carry it accountable.

“Somewhere they have slipped … it is time for them to understand that there is much more to life than just image-building maybe,” Kher stated in within the interview.
“I think the criticism is valid in lots of cases and I think it is important for the government to rise to the occasion and do things that they are chosen by people of this country for,” he added.
The actor, nevertheless, in the course of the interview emphasised that that different political events shouldn’t achieve from the federal government’s failures.
“But for another political party to use it for their gain is also not right,” he stated.
