New Delhi: After the killing of two inmates in Delhi’s Tihar Jail in a month, the jail administration has deployed fast response groups (QRTs) in its high-risk prison to sort out emergency or riot-like conditions. According to a jail official, QRTs can have Delhi prison employees, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel.

These groups can have anti-rights tools, resembling helmets, bulletproof jackets, chilli powder, and many others. The QRT groups may also be deployed exterior the jail as properly. The variety of ITBP personnel exterior the jail may also be elevated.

Prince Tewatia killed in Tihar
