Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap underwent an angioplasty lately and is now again house and recuperating, his spokesperson shared on Thursday. The Gangs of Wasseypur director, who is doing high quality, had the cardiac process after he complained of chest ache final week, added a supply near him.
“Yes, he underwent an angioplasty. He is now recuperating. Thank you on your concern,” his representative said in a brief statement. The 48-year-old director has been advised rest for a couple of weeks, he added.
Meanwhile, Kashyap’s daughter with ex wife Aarti Bajaj also flew down from the USA to be with him during this time. She shared his picture after the surgery. Kashyap is bald and sports a thick unibrow in the latest picture. Take a look.
Kashyap is best known for directing critical hits like “Black Friday”, “Raman Raghav 2.0″ and the Netflix show “Sacred Games”. He is presently engaged on “Dobaaraa”, featuring his “Manmarziyaan” star Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati. The movie, which wrapped its capturing in March, is in post-production.
