All India Football Federation government committee member Deepak Sharma was arrested by Goa police on March 30 for allegedly bodily assaulting two women players, an official stated.
Two footballers of Himachal Pradesh-based Khad FC, collaborating in the Indian Women’s Football (IWL) League second division right here, had alleged Mr. Sharma, the proprietor of the membership, had barged into their room and bodily assaulted them on the night time of March 28.

“AIFF executive committee member Deepak Sharma was called for questioning during the day after a formal complaint was received.
