Air India pilot cabin crew grounded for allowing woman into cockpit on Dubai Delhi flight DGCA latest news

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Wednesday directed Air India to de-roster the whole crew of one among its flights whose pilot had allowed a feminine good friend into the cockpit throughout a Dubai-Delhi flight almost two months in the past, until the investigations are full, based on a senior official.

The incident had come to gentle after a cabin crew member of the flight filed a grievance with the DGCA concerning the pilot allowing a feminine good friend into the cockpit. The incident had occurred on February 27.

On the situation of anonymity, the official on the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) stated although prima-facie, the cabin crew appears to don’t have any position within the incident, the whole crew of the flight has been de-rostered pending investigations.

There is an allegation, which is being investigated and the precept of pure justice will apply, and the pilot involved may even be given a possibility to current his case, the official stated on Wednesday.

Pilot to stay grounded until remaining investigation 

The official additionally stated the pilot will stay grounded until a remaining resolution within the matter is taken by the regulator.

While there was no speedy remark from Air India on the latest improvement, the airline, on April 21, stated it had taken a severe notice of the reported incident and that investigations had been underway.

Unauthorised individuals are not allowed to enter the cockpit and any such entry may very well be in violation of norms.
