Mumbai: The OTT giants Amazon Prime are foraying into movie manufacturing, and the primary movie to be co-produced by the banner is the Akshay Kumar-starrer Ram Setu. Amazon Prime Video India tweeted the information on their official account on Wednesday (March 17).

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh additionally confirmed the information with a tweet. He wrote: “BIGGG NEWS… #AMAZON GETS INTO FILM PRODUCTION IN #INDIA… #Amazon forays into film production in #India… Will co-produce #RamSetu… Stars #AkshayKumar… Directed by Abhishek Sharma.”
Akshay Kumar is all set to start capturing for “Ram Setu” from Thursday (March 18). The movie shall be shot at a number of places with a significant portion being shot in Mumbai.
Akshay, together with director Abhishek Sharma and artistic producer Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, will fly to Ayodhya on March 18 for the mahurat shot of the movie, which additionally stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha
