Amit Shah to lay foundation stone of National Academy of Coastal Policing in Gujarat today

Amit Shah’s Gujarat go to: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to go to the National Academy of Coastal Policing (NACP) at Okha in Gujarat on Saturday for the ‘bhoomi poojan’ and the foundation stone laying ceremony of the establishment. Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and Director General BSF SL Thaosen may also be attending the programme.

According to officers, he may also e-inaugurate 5 coastal outposts of BSF located off the Jakhau coast in the Kutch district in addition to one OP Tower at Lakhpatwari in the Sir Creek space in the state.

The National Academy of Coastal Policing has been established to present intensive and high-level coaching for Marine Police of 9 Coastal states, 5 Union Territories and in addition to Central Police Forces.

Rs 441 crore sanctioned for NACP’s growth
