Andhra Pradesh to undergo partial lockdown for two weeks from May 5

New Delhi: The Andhra Pradesh authorities on Monday (May 3) determined to impose a ‘partial curfew’ throughout the state.

This curfew will begin on May 5 and go on for two weeks to curb the latest surge of COVID-19 circumstances. Lockdown-like restrictions can be in place in Andhra Pradesh from 12 midday to 6 am.

Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy introduced this choice at a high-level COVID overview assembly on Monday, in accordance to information company PTI.

Shops can be allowed to open day by day from 6 am to 12 midday, with prohibitory orders underneath Section 144 CrPC in pressure.

Only emergency companies can be allowed to transfer round after 12 pm as curfew can be clamped until 6 within the morning.

For the previous few days, night time curfew from 10 pm to 5 am is in pressure within the state to comprise COVID-19.

But with the variety of circumstances rising in report numbers day by day, the Chief Minister determined to impose additional restrictions to break the chain.

Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board on Monday permitted a couple of industries in Visakhapatnam to convert their present nitrogen vegetation into medical oxygen producing models to meet the rising demand for oxygen due to spurt in COVID-19 circumstances.
