Another ‘Atrocity’ Against J&K Residents: Mehbooba Mufti On Ban On FAT Affiliate Schools


New Delhi: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supremo Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday stated the ban on faculties run by the Falah-e-Aam Trust (FAT), an affiliate of banned Jamaat-e-Islami, is “another form of atrocity” inflicted on the individuals of Jammu and Kashmir to “sabotage” their future. Mehbooba stated the final “target” is schooling after land possession, assets and jobs.

“Move to ban FAT affiliated schools is another form of atrocity inflicted on people of J&K to sabotage their future. After land ownership, resources & jobs the last target is education. I am sure Kashmiris will overcome this & not let their children suffer,” she tweeted.

The Jammu and Kashmir faculty schooling division has stopped over than 300 academic establishments run by the FAT from working, information company Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.

School Education Secretary B.Ok. Singh issued an order to this impact earlier on June 13.
