Bollywood music composer Shravan Rathod of Nadeem-Shravan fame handed away on Thursday (April 22) as a result of COVID-19 issues. He was 66. His son Sanjeev Rathod confirmed the information of his demise whereas solely speaking to ABP News. Shravan died as a result of coronary heart assault and a number of organ failure at a number one Mumbai hospital.
Several tinsel city celebs took to social media to mourn the demise of the gifted musician. Filmmaker and IFTDA President Ashoke Pandit stated that Shravan’s demise has created a void within the music and movie business.
“Film Industry loses one of the most popular music composers #ShravanRathod of #NadeemShravan fame. His demise today at 9.30 pm has created a void in the music & film fraternity. He will remain alive with his music. Heartfelt Condolences to the family,” Pandit tweeted.
Singer Shreya Ghoshal expressed shock over the demise of Shravan Rathod on social media. Her tweet learn, “Shocked to hear the news of Shravan ji (of Nadeem Shravan) passing away. A genuine humble human being and one of the biggest composers of our music industry. Another huge loss in this pandemic. God give strength to the bereaved family. Rest in peace.”
‘Dilbaro’ singer Harshdeep Kaur stated that she is saddened to listen to in regards to the unlucky information. “Saddened to hear about the demise of #ShravanRathod ji.. His music made the 90s so special.. Huge loss to the music industry,” she wrote.
Bigg Boss 14 contestant and Kumar Sanu’s son Jaan Kumar Sanu penned an emotional notice for Rathod on Twitter. He wrote, “To one of the most legendary music composers of the 90s, the reason my dad became who he came, the reason my house is still called ‘Aashiqui’. Check out his full post!
Trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh wrote, “Veteran music composer #Shravan [of Nadeem-Shravan] passes away… Delivered memorable songs within the Nineteen Nineties… Heartfelt condolences to the household… Om Shanti.”
Shravan Rathod and his music partner Nadeem Akhtar Saifi composed music for films like ‘Aashiqui’, ‘Saajan’, ‘Phool Aur Kaante’, ‘Sadak’, ‘Dil Ka Rishta’, to name a few. They delivered several hit songs which are considered as all time classic in the industry.
