Another Setback For Uddhav Thackeray, Trusted Aide Subhash Desai’s Son Joins Eknath Shinde Camp | India News


Mumbai: In one more blow to Shiv Sena (UBT) faction head Uddhav Thackeray, Bhushan Desai, the son of his trusted aide and former industries minister Subhash Desai, joined Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction on Monday. Desai joined the Shinde faction within the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and a number of other different Shiv Sena leaders.

 

 

Desai joined the Shinde faction simply days forward of the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. His switching the camp is being seen as a significant improvement within the political circles of Maharashtra. On Sunday, Aaditya Thackeray alleged the Election Commission is “fully compromised” and stated its resolution to recognise the Shinde faction because the Shiv Sena and allot it the bow and arrow image was harmful for democracy.

He stated the acronym “CM” of Maharashtra currently stands for a “corrupt man”, and that the “unlawful and unconstitutional chief minister will certainly go”.
