New Delhi: Riding on the success of its iPhone 12 collection, Apple captured 42 per cent market share (by worth) within the world smartphone market that posted a report $113 billion in gross sales for the primary time within the first quarter (January-March) this 12 months, in line with a brand new report.

Samsung regained the highest spot with the profitable launch of the Galaxy S21 collection, with pent-up demand throughout Europe, US, Korea and different markets, in line with Senior Analyst Varun Mishra.

Samsung’s push into the mid-end phase with its profitable A-Series gadgets was one other main driver.

OPPO had a report quarter each by way of income and shipments. OPPO shipped 38 million models globally, rising at a staggering 70 per cent (YoY).
