The software window for CUET-UG reopened on April 9 for three days following illustration from college students and there shall be no change within the syllabus after rationalisation of NCERT textbooks, officers stated.

“Following requests from several students, we have decided to re-open the application portal for CUET-UG on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and it will close at 11.59 p.m. on Tuesday [11 April 2023]. Students are requested to visit cuet.samarth.ac.in for more details,” UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar stated.

Nearly 14 lakh college students have utilized for CUET-UG, up by 41% since final 12 months.

Following rationalisation of NCERT books, aspirants of undergraduate entrance exams had been confused about whether or not it is going to impression the entrances.

“The notified syllabus will remain the same as the exam is not just for students from a particular board. Not all boards have rationalised the content,” a senior National Testing Agency (NTA) official stated.

CUET-UG stays the second-largest entrance examination within the nation by way of candidates. In the debut version of CUET-UG, 12.50 lakh college students registered themselves and 9.9 lakh of them submitted their functions.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) for medical admissions is the biggest entrance check in India with a mean of 18 lakh registrations.

The final date for functions for CUET-UG was March 30 and the examination is scheduled to be carried out from May 21-31. In a deviation from the standard sample, the examination shall be carried out in three shifts this 12 months.
