Arjuna award-winning former India desk tennis participant V Chandrasekhar died at a personal hospital right here on Wednesday due to COVID-19 associated issues, household sources stated.
He was 64 and is survived by his spouse and a son.
Chandra, as he was popularly identified, was a three-time nationwide champion.
The Chennai-born participant, who had reached the semifinals of the Commonwealth Games in 1982, was additionally a profitable coach.
