Veteran paddler Sharath Kamal, G. Sathiyan and Manika Batra will headline the Indian line-up whereas world No. 12 Nigeria’s Aruna Quadri might be among the foreign players competing within the upcoming season of Ultimate Table Tennis.

The fourth season is scheduled to be held on the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune from July 13 to 30 and the participant draft might be held in Mumbai subsequent month.

From a pool of 40 obtainable players, every group can select two foreigners – one male and one feminine and 4 Indians – two male and two feminine. Every group has the correct to retain one participant from the earlier season.

The Indian line-up may also embody reigning nationwide champion Sreeja Akula, who has simply gained back-to-back Nationals Titles, U-19 boys nationwide title holder Payas Jain, Diya Chitale, S. Fidel, R. Snehit and Ankur Bhattacharjee.

Besides Ms. Aruna, World No. 32 Benedikt Duda of Germany, World No. 34 Omar Assar of Egypt, Alvaro Robles of Spain, who gained a doubles silver on the 2019 World Championships, may also be a part of the fourth seasom.

USA’s Lily Zhang (WR24), Australia’s Yangzi Liu (WR32), Thailand’s Suthasini Sawettabut (WR33) and Barbora Balazova of Slovakia (WR44) would be the worldwide ladies’s players within the draft pool.

The upcoming season will characteristic six groups: Bengaluru Smashers, Chennai Lions, Dabang Delhi TTC, Goa Challengers, Puneri Paltan Table Tennis and U Mumba TT.
