The Arunachal Pradesh authorities on Saturday imposed stricter restrictions, together with the extension of curfew hours, after ‘double mutant’ coronavirus was detected in the state, an official stated. As per the brand new resolution taken in a gathering chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, a curfew can be clamped from 3 pm to five am throughout the state and all outlets and enterprise institutions have been requested to down their shutters by 2 pm, Principal Secretary, Health, Dr Sharat Chauhan advised reporters.
At current, a curfew is imposed from 6 pm to five am throughout the state.
He stated authorities workplaces will perform with 30 per cent Group C and Group D employees until 2 pm, whereas no curb has been imposed on workers belonging to Group A and Group B classes.
All eating places and different eateries will function until 2 pm every single day, whereas the supply of important items by e-commerce will proceed for the complete day with strict adherence to COVID applicable behaviour.
The new order will come into impact from 5 am on Sunday.
Several different restrictions, together with the imposition of lockdown in Tawang and the extension of an analogous measure in the Capital Complex area until May 31, will even be carried out.
“All public transport will be allowed to operate with 30 per cent passenger capacity, while auto-rickshaw will be permitted to carry only two persons at a time,” he stated.
Banks, ATMs, telecommunication and web companies can be allowed to function, Chauhan stated.
He additional stated a most of 10 individuals might be allowed for marriage, spiritual capabilities and funeral companies.
“The ‘double mutant’ coronavirus spreads fast from individual to cluster for which extra precautions need to be taken. The government has decided to impose additional restrictions throughout the state to break the chain of the virus,” Chauhan stated.
Of the 25 randomly chosen samples despatched to laboratories, ‘double mutant’ coronavirus had been discovered in six, he stated.
Fifteen samples had been despatched to a laboratory in Kolkata and 10 to the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) of the Indian Medical Council Research (IMCR) at Dibrugarh in Assam, he added.
