Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann on Sunday (April 3) provided prayers at the Swaminarayan temple in Shahibaug space of Ahmedabad on the concluding day of their two-day visit.
Notably, Kejriwal, who’s the nationwide convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Mann had paid obeisance at a temple within the Nikol space of Ahmedabad on Saturday (April 2) and held a roadshow, just about launching the marketing campaign for the Assembly elections in Gujarat, due in December this 12 months.
During their visit to the Swaminarayan Temple on Sunday, Kejriwal and Mann have been accompanied by Gujarat AAP leaders together with Isudan Gadhvi and Gopal Italia.
As per the schedule shared by the state AAP unit, Kejriwal and Mann will depart for Delhi on Sunday night.
Swaminarayan Sampraday and different sects in Hinduism and temples take pleasure in enormous followings in Gujarat.

On Saturday, the CMs of Delhi and Punjab, each dominated by AAP, started their Ahmedabad visit by visiting the Gandhi Ashram and paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Later within the day, they held a roadshow within the Nikol and Bapunagar localities with a big turnout of AAP members and supporters.
After the roadshow, Kejriwal had appealed to the individuals of Gujarat to provide the AAP an opportunity and accused the ruling BJP of turning into boastful.
With Congress in disarray, the AAP, buoyed by its spectacular efficiency in Punjab in latest elections, is aiming to undertaking itself as the one different to the ruling BJP within the house state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
