Asian Track Cycling Championships: Indian Para Contingent Shines as Nation Adds Two Gold, a Silver and Bronze Each – News18

Arshad Shaikh and Jalaluddin Ansari secured a gold-silver within the C2 15km Scratch remaining, whereas in girls’s C2 class 15km Scratch race, Jyoti Gaderiya emerged the winner, whereas Pavan Kumar Kommoji clinched bronze within the keenly-contested C3 class 15km Scratch remaining.

India received two gold, a silver and a bronze medal, whereas Malaysia dominated the continuing with 5 prime-podium finishes on day two of the Asian Track Cycling Championships on Thursday.

On a day when all of India’s medals got here within the para class, Arshad Shaikh and Jalaluddin Ansari secured a gold-silver within the C2 15km Scratch remaining, whereas in girls’s C2 class 15km Scratch race, Jyoti Gaderiya emerged the winner.

In the boys’s junior Scratch race, Sujal Yadav secured the fifth place, whereas Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, and Hong Kong claimed the gold, silver, and bronze medals, respectively.

In girls’s junior Scratch race, JP Dhanyadha secured the seventh place, whereas Wen Xin Huang of Chinese Taipei clinched the gold.

India’s Mayuri Dhanraj Lute and Trishya Paul narrowly missed out on medals within the girls’s Elite Sprint class.
