 Hours after the Assam police arrested three individuals and detained greater than 20 others in reference to the class 10 common science query paper leak, a student claimed the arithmetic query paper for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination was leaked too. 

An HSLC candidate in japanese Assam’s Dhemaji district stated he obtained the overall arithmetic query paper three days earlier than the examination was held on March 6. 

The candidate claimed that he was forwarded the query paper from a WhatsApp group of seven boys. This group was deleted later however he had already downloaded the arithmetic paper containing query numbers 6 to 21 for a complete of fifty marks. 

“I have asked the district police to verify the claim,” Assam’s Director-General of Police, G.P. Singh stated. 

The police have thus far arrested three individuals, together with two Guwahati-based lecturers and detained greater than 20 others, six college students of a non-public faculty in Dibrugarh amongst them. The son of a member of the Mising Autonomous Council has additionally been detained.
