New Delhi: The counting of votes for the high-stakes meeting polls in 4 states- Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and the union territory of Puducherry will start on Sunday (May 2). 

All needed preparations have been made by the Election Commission for the counting which is able to start at 8 am throughout counting centres.

Check the checklist of top candidates to watch out for at the moment:

Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal)

The Trinamool Congress has been in energy in the state since 2011. Chief Minister and TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee can be contesting for the seat in the Nandigram constituency.

Suvendu Adhikari (West Bengal)

West Bengal has the highest 294 seats and noticed a fierce contest between the ruling Trinamool Congress and BJP throughout eight phases. BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari can be contesting in opposition to CM Mamata Banerjee for the Nandigram seat in the West Bengal Assembly elections.

MK Stalin (Tamil Nadu)
