Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday requested his Rajasthan peer Ashok Gehlot to allot an acre of land free of value in Rajasthan’s Kota metropolis for a hostel for college students from the central state pursuing teaching there, officers stated.
In a letter to Gehlot, who’s in Raipur to attend the Congress’ three-day plenary session that started on Friday, Baghel stated a big quantity of college students from Chhattisgarh keep put in Kota for pursuing teaching in varied programs.
Both states are at present being ruled by the Congress.

Kota is dwelling to an enormous teaching trade value Rs 6,000 crore. Last 12 months, practically 2 lakh college students enrolled in varied teaching institutes, largely focussing on JEE and NEET, in the town.
For the comfort of such college students from Chhattisgarh, the state authorities is eager to assemble a hostel there, Baghel stated.
The CM additionally urged Gehlot to present a plot of about one acre for gratis to the Chhattisgarh authorities at a spot not removed from the teaching institutes in Kota for the hostel, stated his letter.
