Bahrain Grand Prix 2024: Max Verstappen takes pole in F1 season opener, Hamilton to start from 9th

Max Verstappen defeated Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Mercedes’ George Russell to take the pole on the Formula 1 2024 season’s opening race on the Bahrain Grand Prix on Friday night.

Alpine struggled in Q1 as their drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly completed final in qualifying and can take the final row on the grid in the primary race tomorrow.
