New Zealand are set to play their first Test since March 2023 on November 28 (Tuesday) as they face Bangladesh away from house in the two-match collection. The first Test is ready to be performed at Sylhet worldwide cricket stadium whilst outstanding batter Kane Williamson may also make his comeback in whites. For the unversed, Williamson isn’t the captain of the Test crew any extra with Tim Southee taking on the mantle.
This can also be the beginning of their World Test Championship (WTC) marketing campaign after performing poorly in the final version. Interestingly, the Kiwis received the inaugural version of the match beating India in the ultimate underneath the management of Kane Williamson who’s now eyeing a significant report in Test cricket.
Williamson has to date scored 8124 runs in 94 Test matches at an impeccable common of 54.89 with 28 tons and 33 fifties to his title. He is just 57 runs behind legendary England cricketer Kevin Pietersen in the record of most runs scored in the longest format of the game. Pietersen amassed 8181 runs throughout his illustrious profession enjoying an enormous 104 Test matches.
Looking at Williamson’s consistency in red-ball cricket, the person can simply go past Pietersen and even perhaps go away behind England’s David Gower who scored 8231 runs in his 117-match Test profession.
