The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has hooked up in London, Dubai and India assets worth Rs 538 crore of Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, his relations and firms, mentioned the Central probe company officers on Wednesday. The actions have been taken as half of a cash laundering investigation linked to an alleged financial institution loan fraud, they added.

The hooked up properties embrace 17 residential flats, bungalows and industrial premises, the officers mentioned.

Located in London, Dubai and numerous cities in India, these properties are in the identify of numerous corporations like Jetair Private Limited and Jet Enterprises Private Limited, Goyal, his spouse Anita, and son Nivaan, the federal company mentioned in an announcement.

Goyal, 74, was arrested by the ED on September 1 and the company filed a cost sheet in opposition to him on Tuesday earlier than a particular Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) courtroom in Mumbai.
