BCCI central contracts: Richa, Jemi get promotion; Shikha dropped

Young wicket-keeper batter Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues have been elevated to B class within the BCCI central contracts for the 2022-23 season whereas the likes of Shikha Pandey and Taniya Bhatia have been dropped.

The contract interval runs from October to September however the BCCI made the announcement on April 27.

A participant in A class will get paid ₹50 lakh over and above match charges and ₹30 lakh and ₹ 10 lakh are allotted for B and C class respectively.

The board has stored solely three gamers within the highest class they usually embody skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, star batter Smriti Mandhana and all-rounder Deepti Sharma.

All three have been retained in the identical class whereas spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad has been demoted to B class.
