‘Bengal Does Not Like Violence Nor Do I’: Mamata After Being Sworn In As CM

Soon after the Assembly election outcomes had been introduced and TMC was declared the winner incidents of violence had been reported from completely different elements of the state. 

Assuring peace within the state, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee mentioned, that there might be no political violence as she has stepped in as Chief Minister.

“Bengal does not like violence nor do I. I will personally look into the law and order issues and make sure there’s peace,” Mamata Banerjee mentioned after being appointed as CM for the third time period.

West Bengal Governor Jagedeep Dhankhar, proper after Mamata Banerjee took oath as Chief Minister, requested her that she is going to uphold the structure values and preserve the peace within the state. 

To which Mamata Banerjee promptly replied: The regulation and order scenario was beneath the management of Election Commission of India for the final three months, I’ve simply taken the oath and can be sure there’s peace.”

The Union dwelling ministry on Monday sought an in depth report of the political violence.

Meanwhile, CM Mamata Banerjee mentioned that this was simply BJP performing up after being defeated and sporadic incidents of violence are widespread in any state post-elections.
