Bengal Governor Refutes Molestation Charge, Calls It ‘Engineered Narratives’ Amid Elections | India News


Kolkata: Hours after a short lived feminine employees on the Raj Bhavan filed a written grievance with the police accusing West Bengal Governor C.V. Bose of ‘outraging her modesty’, the latter denied the costs on Thursday evening, calling the accusation an try to achieve electoral advantages.  

“Truth shall triumph. I refuse to be cowed down by engineered narratives. If anybody wants some election benefits by maligning me, God bless them. But they cannot stop my fight against corruption and violence in Bengal,” learn a quick assertion issued by the Governor’s workplace on Thursday evening. 

On Thursday afternoon, a short lived feminine employees on the Raj Bhavan, reportedly connected to the Peace Room within the Governor’s House, approached the officer-in-charge of the police outpost situated contained in the Raj Bhavan and accused C.V. Ananda Bose of molesting her on the pretext of offering her a everlasting job. 

Later, she submitted a written grievance on the Hare Street police station, underneath which the Raj Bhavan falls. Reacting to the matter, the chief of opposition within the West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, stated it should be probed if the allegation is real or a part of a conspiracy. 

“Around 26,000 people have misplaced their jobs in state-run faculties following an order by the Calcutta High Court. The Trinamool is cornered over the developments in Sandeshkhali. It is to be seen whether or not the allegation is a part of a conspiracy in the midst of the Lok Sabha elections. If the allegation is true, the Union authorities will certainly look into the matter,” Adhikari stated.
