BHEL Surges Over 7% On Emerging As Lowest Bidder For Nuclear Power Project

BHEL shares soared greater than 7 per cent in early buying and selling after the state-owned engineering agency emerged as lowest bidder for the provision of kit for 6×700 MW nuclear energy tasks of Nuclear Power Corporation of India. At 10:45 am, the shares of BHEL have been buying and selling at Rs 52.15, up 4 per cent, on the BSE.

BHEL has thus retained its market management place of being the only Indian provider of nuclear steam generators.

The BSE Sensex was buying and selling at 50,067.75, larger by 257.35 factors or 0.52 per cent and the NSE Nifty was at 14,803.20, up 81.90 factors or 0.56 per cent on the time.
