Drink a beer, sit again for a haircut — and get your Covid-19 vaccination.
That was President Joe Biden’s message Wednesday in launching an enormous last push to inoculate 70 p.c of the US grownup inhabitants by the nationwide vacation of July 4th.

Universities are joining the crusade while some states are offering lotteries with prizes as big as $1 million. In West Virginia, firearms and pick-up trucks are on the prize list.
“We’re making it even easier to get vaccinated, which we’ve seen is the key to increasing numbers and getting more shots in arms,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated.
That means free rides to vaccination facilities from Uber and Lyft, nationwide baby care suppliers watching over youngsters whereas dad and mom obtain injections, and pharmacies staying open 24 hours on Fridays.
With the Black neighborhood behind within the vaccination charges, the White House has put particular emphasis on barbershops and salons, which frequently double as African American social hubs.
