It had cited complicated safety and privateness considerations as causes behind its resolution to take away the so-known as residence display screen net apps, which might be launched as a standalone app on a tool.
The apps are anticipated to return to iPhones with the iOS 17.4 replace in early March, Apple stated in a put up on its web site.
“We have received requests to continue to offer support for Home Screen web apps in iOS, therefore we will continue to offer the existing Home Screen web apps capability in the EU,” the corporate stated.
