Bihar Chief Secretary asks state police to ensure strict compliance of COVID-19 lockdown

Patna: The Bihar Chief Secretary and the state DGP on Sunday (May 9, 2021) held a vital assembly with the SP of all districts ro ensure higher compliance of the COVID-19 lockdown.  

The assembly final virtually half-an-hour throughout which the police was requested to folow the lockdown orders strictly.

Besides it was mentioned to give a 4-hour window — from 7 am to 11 am — to the general public for emergency associated purchases.

The police has been requested to take particular motion towards these violating the lockdown guidelines i.e. individuals who at out of their properties for no function.

Also, a crackdown was ordered on the black marketeers, and it was demanded that sturdy motion be taken towards such individuals who promote life saving drugs and oxygen at black markets.

The Nitish Kumar-led authorities had imposed a lockdown within the state on March 4 until May 15.

The choice of the Chief Minister got here after Patna High Court requested the state authorities to management the COVID-19 state of affairs and declare a lockdown or it is going to have to cross an acceptable order.

Earlier, the Bihar authorities has imposed an evening curfew within the state until March 15.
