Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday (April 14) mentioned that the district administrations have been directed to make elaborate preparations amid the forecast of heatwave circumstances within the state.

Speaking to reporters, Kumar mentioned that officers have been requested to create consciousness among the many folks in regards to the prevention of heat-related sickness.

“Apart from issuing instructions to the district administrations, I have also asked senior officials of the Health Department to ensure the best possible treatment for heatstroke patients at the government hospitals,” he mentioned.

The temperature will additional rise within the coming days and the administration is ready to cope with the heatwave circumstances, the chief minister mentioned.

Around 150 folks died due to extreme heatwave circumstances in 2019, officers mentioned.

Patna recorded a most temperature of 37 levels Celsius on Wednesday, they mentioned.

The most temperature is probably going to go up to 41 levels Celsius on Friday, they added.

Buxar district recorded the best temperature of the season within the state at 44.7 levels Celsius on April 10, officers mentioned.
