In a weird incident in Gurugram, 4 men booked a cab by means of an app and allegedly stole it when the driving force arrived to select them up, police stated. The incident befell on Friday night time at Chaukar Ki Dhani close to IMT, Manesar, they stated.
The cab driver, Harish Kumar from Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh, acquired a reserving on the cab aggregator app round 11 pm on Friday, the police stated.
He reached the pickup level and located 4 men standing there. As he stepped out of the cab to verify if that they had booked the cab, the men snatched the automotive keys from him, pushed him and fled in his automobile. The complainant’s cell phone was additionally contained in the cab, they stated.
An FIR was registered in reference to the incident at Sector 10 A police station on Saturday. An investigation is underway, the police stated.
