The Bhartiya Janta Party on Sunday launched the fifth record of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to happen from April 19. The get together has fielded Adivasi leader Kothapalli Geetha from Araku whereas D Purandareshwari will contest elections from the Rajahmundry constituency.
Andhra Pradesh is about to witness polling in a single part starting on April 19 for the much-awaited common elections. The Election Commission on March 16 introduced the dates for the 18th General Elections within the nation. The counting of votes will happen on June 4.Â
Here is the total record of candidates from Andhra Pradesh:Â
- Araku (ST) – Kothapalli Geetha
- Anakapalle – CM Ramesh
- Rajahmundry – D Purandareshwari
- Narsapuram – Bupathiraju Srinivas Varma
- Tirupati (SC) – Varaprasad Rao
- Rajampet – N Kiran Kumar Reddy
The Election Commission mentioned 102 constituencies will go for polls within the first part on April 19, adopted by 89 constituencies within the second part on April 26. The third part might be held on May 7, the fourth on May 13, the fifth on May 20, the sixth on May 25 and the seventh and the final part on June 1. In the primary part, 102 constituencies will go for polls, 89 constituencies within the second part, 94 constituencies within the third, 96 within the fourth part, 49 within the fifth part, 57 within the sixth part and 57 within the seventh part.
